America claim Psalm 91
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.  And to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under GOD, indivisible, with liberty and justice
for all.
History of
The Pledge of Allegiance
The Pledge of Allegiance was written in Boston in connection with the 400th anniversary of America's discovery,  October 12, 1892.
Congress officially approved the Pledge on June 22, 1942, and on June 14, 1954 (Flag Day), the phrase "under God" was added.
Flag Facts:
It is custom to display the flag only from sunrise to sunset outside.  However, the flag may be displayed twenty-four hours a day if properly illuminated during the hours of darkness.
The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.

A Nation Is Born
Once Thomas Jefferson's task of writing a document for the people to be united was completed, congress prepared to act on it right away.
Congress voted in favor of independence on July 2nd, and on July 4th, 1776 the
Declaration of Independence was adopted into this nation.
When Jefferson was finished, he wrote, "we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor."
United We Stand
The fighting is real.
The blood is real.
Prayer is real too!
Be stong and brave...
I will be with you everywhere you go.
Joshua 1:9 (NIrV)
The fighting is still going on, and our troops are still in danger.  Don't stop praying for them!
Please pray God's protection and comfort for John as he is in active duty, and Chris who is on the front lines in combat.
Pray for the families of the soldiers who died this week.  Continue to pray for those who are still missing in action that they are found alive.
